The last month of the year already and the holidays are coming up

I made a Steampunk album for you

I used a lot of steampunk mdf and chipboards

Like the pipelines, the clock, gears and the background

I made these pipelines even more 3d, by using mitform castings pipelines in some places

Painting the album with the Lindy's spray Tibetan Poppy Teal

And highlighted with the firebird wax from Finnabair

Hope you got some inspiration from my project

CHAINED TORSO

Hello, today I bring to you my Chained Torso.

This month has been difficult for me,

then I looked at my chipboards and saw the chains and cogs and thought of my heavy wooden Torso

that I have had for a few years and suddenly knew what to make!

It has just been waiting for a project like this!

It stands about 48cm tall and made from wood.

I started by preparing with a Base coat of blackgesso .

After selecting my chipboard pieces from the Industrial Factory range.

And the Jolly Roger chains

I made them a bit wet so I could bend them. 

I then stuck them in place with gel medium and dried it all. 

When it was fully dry I painted it with black paint and added some more cogs to make the layers 3D

then adding some texture paste all over using cadence texture paste to give it more depth and shading. 

The products I used after are Lindy's silver spray and Finnabair White golden wax

It could represent the inner clockwork that keeps us ticking or the way we feel at the moment trapped in chains, with our inner cogs getting rusty from not being able to live freely? Or just a really nice Steampunk style piece of art with no hidden meaning!

Hi! 

Welcome to the Snip Art universe, to end the month of June I bring you my monthly tutorial.

Użyłam do niego szafeczki MDF (która niedługo wróci na stronę) i tekturek z kolekcji "Industrial Factory". Wykorzystałam też elementy metalowe, którym nadałam rdzawy efekt, co podkreśla industrialny charakter pracy.

For this tutorial I have used a filing cabinet MDF base (pending to upload to the web) and chipboards from the "Industrial Factory" collection, I have also used metallic elements that have been given a rust effect to achieve that industrial style that I like it so much.

Szafeczkę pokryłam papierami i nadałam jej efekt rdzy różnymi pastami. 

I have covered my filing cabinet with papers and I have given it rust effect with different pastes.

My first project in June is a Steampunk canvas style, with the collections "Industrial Factory" and "Up in the Air"

Użyłam różnych produktów dla uzyskania tekstury oraz papierów by dodać pracy przestrzenności.
I have used different products to get texture and papers to give more volume to the project.

And the chipboards from the collections that I mentioned before, which are perfect for this project.

Wiem, że jest dużo za wcześnie na Halloween, ale ja po prostu uwielbiam czaski MDF

Today it is my turn to inspire you

I know it is too early for Halloween but I just love this skull

out of MDF 

Najpierw umieściłam tekturkę w tle a na wierzchu pudełka użyłam murku i kratki.
Następnie stworzyłam kompozycję z trybików MDF, cyferek (pozostałaś z zegarka Meow Rules) i zegarka. Przecięłam zegar w połowie, żeby pasował pod czaszkę. 

First I put the background chipboards on top and on the side of the box. 

using the brick wall on the sides and openwork chequered pattern on the lit

then I made my composition with the MDF gears, 

numbers (from the clock cat from Meow rules) and clock

I cut the clock in half so It fits under the skull.

Wszystko poza czaszką przykleiłam do pudełka, dodałam trochę tekstury z pasty piaskowej i następnie pokryłam wszystko czarnym gesso.
Popryskałam miedzianą mgiełką na pudełku i podkreśliłam szczegóły woskami Finnabair.

Następnie wzięłam czaszkę MDF i umieściłam trybik w oku.
Dodałam warstwę Powertexu i popsikałam Bisterem aby całość popękała i miała ciemniejszy kolor. 

I glued everything except the skull on the box,

made some texture with sandpaste and then put everything in black gesso.

I sprayed a copper spray on the box and 

hightligted with Finnabair aged brass wax

Then I took the MDF skull and put a gear on the eye.

I took a layer of Powertex on it and sprayed Bister on that 

so it would crackle and give at a darker color.
