Under The Sea Porthole

Dzisiaj dzielę się z Wami moją nową pracą. Chciałam stworzyć tego typu projekt od bardzo dawna i cieszę się z tego jak ostatecznie wygląda. Moja praca to bulaj, do którego wykorzystałam też papiery i odciski ze Stamperii i oczywiście tekturki SnipArt.

Hi there Snip Art fans, I hope you are all staying safe. 

Today I am sharing with you all my newest creation. I have been wanting to create a project like this for a very long time and I am so happy with how it all turned out. So my project is a porthole I created using papers and molds from Stamperia and of course chipboard by Snip Art.

Wykorzystałam fluid akrylowy Deco Art i gęste farby Primy dla stworzenia postarzonego efektu na tekturkach. Odcisk w kształcie nurka jest pokryty pastą Patina Effect od Finnabair.

I used Deco Art's fluid acrylic paints , Prima's heavy body acrylic paints to create an aged look to the chipboard pieces. For the diver mould I used Finnabair's Patina Texture Effect Paste.

Koralowce miały wyglądać bardziej jak wodorosty więc wykorzystałam tusz Archival w odcieniach zieleni i brązu.

For the Coral chipboard pieces, I wanted them to look more like seaweed so I used Archival Ink in greens and browns.

Life is a beach altered anchor

Hi Everyone, Farrel here to share my latest project with you all. When I received my DT box 2 months ago I was super excited when I saw the MDF anchor and have been busting at the seams to create something with it......so here is my project.

For the base I used a texture paste and chalk acrylic paint to create a rusty effect. I added some fish netting and art stones as well.

I used the same paints to cover the seashell frame, rudder, title and compass with feather. The octopus I used archival ink in mermaid lagoon and vintage photo.

I inked around the edges of the anchor using Ground Espresso Archival ink and dry brushed the netting with white gesso.
