Far Far Away Altered Clipboard

Hello there Snip Art Fans!!! Farrel here to share another mixed media project with you all. 

Now that we are into December, usually we would be planning trips to spend with family and friends for Christmas but unfortunately with the situation that a lot of us are in, that's just not possible.... and that's where I got my inspiration from for this project. I miss not being able to travel and thought the next best thing would be to create a project about travel instead.

I bought the clipboard from a dollar store and used a wood grain tool for the background. I stenciled the background using modeling paste and Snip Art's Text stencil. I then applied Gold Crackle Paste and let dry.

I painted all my chipboard pieces with 3 acrylic paint colours - Cream, Red and Blue. I then adhered them to my clipboard. I also painted the metal clip with cream paint.

Once the glue had dried, I than covered the whole project with Vintage Paste and using a baby wipe, I very gently wiped away the paste until I was happy with the result. To finish off the project I added a metal embellishment to the clip.

I made a big tag with magical theme... with beauty and the dark collection.

I put some shinny watercolor in my back group and decorated my chipboards with some flowers...like to play with happy and dark sides...

Hej Kochani!

Dzisiaj przychodzę do Was z wakacyjnym layoutem. Zdjęcie to pochodzi z tegorocznych wakacji nad naszym polskim morzem i bardzo szczególnej chwili tych wakacji, albowiem zostało ono zrobione tuż przed tym jak się zaręczyliśmy :) Bardzo chciałam uchwycić ten moment, a najlepszym do tego sposobem jest oczywiście layout :) tekturki z nowej oraz tej starszej morskiej kolekcji cudownie dopełniły całości.

Today I come to you with a holiday layout.  This photo comes from this year's holiday at our Polish seaside and a very special moment of this holiday, because it was taken just before we got engaged :) I really wanted to capture this moment, and the best way to do this is of course, to make a layout :) I added chipboards from both - new and old maritime collection, they completed my project perfectly.

MM Card in Midnight Blue & Sunny Yellow

Hello crafty friends!

Today I have for you a mixed media card with travel theme, warm sunny sky, deep blue night, boundless universe... This card is appropriate for every soul with dreams and hope.
 I chose two contrast colours (midnight blue and sunny yellow) in combination with white.
This time I used only uncolored chipboards and at the end I added a few drops of silver acrylic paint.

I used Distress Oxide Sprays for my background and a Map stamp by Darkroom Door

The papers I have used are by Stamperia - Around the World.

I embossed on Snip Art's packaging using Sizzix Foundary 3D Texture Embossing folder and used Distress Oxides and inks to cover.

I covered my Up In The Air Frame with Sepia Archival Ink as well as the Balloon. I kept the Rose of Winds compass raw and adhered to the balloon. For the Globe chipboard, I sprayed with Distress Oxides.
