Swirl Christmas Card

Moja ostatnia świąteczna kartka w końcu trafiła do pocztowej skrzynki.

Użyłam w niej zawijasków i śnieżynek, które przypominają o radośnie wirujących płatkach śniegu- wiecie, gdy tylko pojawiają się w okolicach świąt gdy przyjeżdża Mikołaj.

Pomalowałam zawijasy farbą akrylową a ażurowe gwiazdki i listki mgiełką. Aparat tego dobrze nie uchwycił, ale jest na nich też sporo brokatu.  

My last christmas cards are made and finally in the mailbox.

On this card I've used the swirls with snowflakes as they reminds me of happy whirling snowflakes - you know, as they appears just around christmas when Santa arrives.

I've painted the swirls with acrylic paint, the dotted star and the leaves with mist.
The camera don't show it well, but there are lots of glitter on the swirls too!

Christmas Card tutorial

Witajcie. U mnie już pada śnieg i w końcu czuć, że święta już blisko. To zainspirowało mnie do stworzenia mixedmediowej kartki świątecznej i przygotowałam do niej także kurs video, który znajdziecie na końcu posta.

Tym razem to podłużna, pozioma kartka. 

Hi. The snow are falling over here and it finally feels like Christmas is around the corner! This inspired me to make a mixed media christmas card and there is also a video in the end of this post for you to see how it's made.

This time it became a long landscape card.

Forever Love - Layout

Cześć! Tu Lisa - dzisiaj z layoutem!
Dużo się bawiłam warstwami by jak najlepiej wydobyć zdjęcie. Użyłam zarówno tuszu jak i pasty strukturalnej z dwoma maskami oraz kilku różnych tekturek w mojej pracy. By troszkę przełamać brąz dodałam odrobinę turkusu dla kontrastu.

I've played with lots of layers to build interest and depth in the picture.

I've used both ink and modeling paste with the two stencils used, and then several different chipboards in my layers. To lighten all the brown up I added the light turquoise color as a contrast.

Imagination Card

Dziś przygotowałam dla Was fantazyjną kartkę. Wybrałam kilka rzeczy, które mnie zainspirowały i po prostu dałam się ponieść zabawie.
Kolory przywodzą na myśl jasne odcienie jesieni. 

Today I have a card I made out of fantasy for you... 

I just used some things that inspire me and it was FUN! 

The colors just happened to be some bright autumn colors.

Sparkling Christmas Card

Dzisiaj mam dla Was lśniącą karteczkę.
Czy wiecie, że jeżeli będziecie robić jedną kartkę tygodniowo do świąt nazbieracie ich 12? Według tych obliczeń chyba muszę robić tygodniowo 3 :)
W tej pracy bawiłam się kolorami i stylem Clean and Simple.

Jelonek i kółeczko z napisem pokolorowałam mgiełkami a gwiazdi zrobiłam przez maskę tuszem, a potem, zanim podniosłam maskę dodałam trochę lśniącej pasty na wierzch. 

Today I have a sparkling christmas card for you.
Do you know that if you make one christmas card a week until christmas you'll end up with 12 cards! And with that in count I think I need to make at least three a week. *smile*

This is a card where I played with colors and a clean and simple style.

Deer and word circle are colored with mists, and the stars are first colored through the stencil with ink and then before lifting the stencil away I put a layer of sparkling paste on top.
