Far Far Away Altered Clipboard

Hello there Snip Art Fans!!! Farrel here to share another mixed media project with you all. 

Now that we are into December, usually we would be planning trips to spend with family and friends for Christmas but unfortunately with the situation that a lot of us are in, that's just not possible.... and that's where I got my inspiration from for this project. I miss not being able to travel and thought the next best thing would be to create a project about travel instead.

I bought the clipboard from a dollar store and used a wood grain tool for the background. I stenciled the background using modeling paste and Snip Art's Text stencil. I then applied Gold Crackle Paste and let dry.

I painted all my chipboard pieces with 3 acrylic paint colours - Cream, Red and Blue. I then adhered them to my clipboard. I also painted the metal clip with cream paint.

Once the glue had dried, I than covered the whole project with Vintage Paste and using a baby wipe, I very gently wiped away the paste until I was happy with the result. To finish off the project I added a metal embellishment to the clip.

MEMORIES BOX

Hi everyone! 

Back to you with a new inspiration post for the Snip Art design team.

On this occasion I have altered a box of chocolates (they were delicious😜) in soft tones, it is not the usual thing in me as you well know, but it is for a special occasion, soon my mother has her birthday and in this box will go the gift that her I will do.

I have created my composition in the center of the box, giving it texture with gauze and chipboard in the background, the word Memories as the protagonist and the flowers with leaves and feathers accompanying it.

In this photo you can see the chipboards that I have used, they are ideal and very versatile to create great projects.

As you can see, I have gone to very soft tones, turquoise, yellow, green and give it a touch of freshness.

Lately I am unrecognizable! 🙄😜

MECHANICAL LADY

Hi everyone! 

Welcome to the universe of Snip Art and its wonderful chipboards. 

Today I bring you a new collaboration within the design team.

This time I have created a tag inside a canvas.

I have created a diagonal background for the canvas with texture and color and on it I have placed my tag in which I have created this "mechanical lady".

I have created the background of the tag with the chipboard supports, because here nothing is thrown away 😉.

For the composition of the tag I have used a small tag (to which I have given texture and color), a mannequin from the "Vintage Boutique" collection and gears from the "Industrial Factory" collection.

To complete my composition, molds, metallic elements, transparent wings, touches of glitter ...

Steampunk gift box for a gentleman

Witajcie! 

Dzisiaj mam dla Was pudełko urodzinowe dla pana. Zrecycklingowała stare kartonowe opakowanie mieszając steampunk i retro. 
Wybrałam głównie tekturki z mojej ulubionej kolekcji "Industrial Factory". 
Powarstwowałam różne elementy i ozdoby dostosowane do odbiorcy prezentu. 
Mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba.

I chose mainly chipboards of my favourite collection "Industrial Factory".
I layered various elements and embellishments adjusted to the recipient of the present...

Welcome to the Snip Art universe, to end the month of June I bring you my monthly tutorial.

Użyłam do niego szafeczki MDF (która niedługo wróci na stronę) i tekturek z kolekcji "Industrial Factory". Wykorzystałam też elementy metalowe, którym nadałam rdzawy efekt, co podkreśla industrialny charakter pracy.

For this tutorial I have used a filing cabinet MDF base (pending to upload to the web) and chipboards from the "Industrial Factory" collection, I have also used metallic elements that have been given a rust effect to achieve that industrial style that I like it so much.

Szafeczkę pokryłam papierami i nadałam jej efekt rdzy różnymi pastami. 

I have covered my filing cabinet with papers and I have given it rust effect with different pastes.
