MDF Heart "With Shining Eyes" by Maka

Witajcie!

Dzisiaj mam dla Was serce mixed mediowe we fioletach i zieleniach uzupełnione naturalnymi elementami. 
Wybrałam fajną sercową bazę MDF od SnipArt i dodałam trochę warstw tekturek pokolorowanych pudrami Magicals, koronkę, gazę, papierowe elementy i ozdoby i trochę gałązek. 
Mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba.

Today I have for you a mixed media heart-decoration with violet and green accents and natural elements. I chose the really fantastic SnipArt MDF heart-base and created some layers by the help  of chipboards (coloured with magical powders), lace, gauze, paper elements and embellishments and little twigs...

lubicie szprotki w oleju? Bo ja bardzo. Ale ja dziś nie o szprotkach, ale o tym co mi po nich pozostaje - puszce. Od pewnego czasu zostawiam sobie jakieś by móc coś z nich zrobić. I tak dziś jedna z nich została ukończona.

do you like sprats in oil? Because I very much. But today I am not talking about sprats, but about what is left of them - a can. I've been leaving some for some time to be able to do something with them. And so today one of them has been completed.

Zacząłem od pokrycia puszki dwoma warstwami czarnego gesso. Kolejnym krokiem było wklejania warstwami elementów z tektury oraz z MDF-u i kolejno malowanie ich również na czarno. Postanowiłem wybrać tekturkowe zębatki i dodać do nich mocniejsze rury z MDF-u. Na wierzch oprócz napisu dodałem coś co od dłuższego czasu chciałem użyć - mały domek.

I started by covering the can with two layers of black gesso. The next step was gluing layers of chipboards and MDF elements and painting them in black. I decided to choose chipboard gears and add stronger MDF pipes to them. On top, in addition to the inscription, I added something that I wanted to use for a long time - a small house.

Całość po wyschnięciu postanowiłem powoskować. Zacząłem od wosku w kolorze miedzianym, którym pokryłem wszystko w miarę dokładnie, a na niego dodałem lekkie pociągnięcia wosku w kolorze emeraldowym. Na koniec dodałem nieco koloru pawiej niebieskości. Kompozycja nie jest zbyt rozbudowana, ale bardzo mi się podoba.

After drying, I decided to wax. I started with copper-colored wax, which covered everything quite thoroughly, and I added light strokes of emerald-colored wax on it. Finally, I added a bit of peacock blue. The composition is not very extensive, but I like it very much.

Hexagon "Little Garden"

Witajcie!
Tym razem mam dla Was małą, uroczą dekorację, którą nazwałam "Mały Ogród". Do tej pracy wybrałam hexagon MDF i świeże odcienie zieleni połączone z kolorem wina i złotem. Ozdobiłam mój hexagon warstwując tekturki, sizal, zielony mech i samoprzylepne kamyczki.
Tekturki drzew zostaly pomalowane farbą akrylową a winorośli mają świetną teksturę dzięki embossingowi. 


Hello everyone!
This time I have for you a small, sweet decoration, called "Little Garden". For this project I chose our little MDF hexagon and fresh, green shades in combination with wine red and gold. 
I decorated my hexagon by the help of layering of some chipboards, sisal, green moss, adhesive stones...
The chipboard of the tree is coloured with acrylic paints, and chipboards of vine leaves got a wonderful texture and tone by the help of hot embossing...

A small hexagon / Mały heksagon

czasami jest tak, że tworzymy duże projekty, a czasami najdzie nas na coś niedużego. Tak było u mnie tym razem. Bazy heksagonowe są tak fajne, że musiałem w końcu zrobić coś z jej małej wersji.

sometimes it's so that we create large projects, and sometimes we feel like something small. It was like this with me this time. The hexagon bases are so cool that I had to do something with its small version.

Wybrałem maskę i tekturki z kolekcji "Mad Scientist". Bardzo podobają mi się tekturki w kształcie buteleczek i bąbelków, które dodałem nad jedną z buteleczek. Stworzyłem z nich niedużą kompozycję i całość pokryłem białym gessem. 

I chose the stencil and chipboards from the "Mad Scientist" collection. I really like the bottle and bubble shaped chipboards that I added above one of the bottles. I created a small composition from them and covered it with a white gesso.

Pierwsze plamy barwne to akwarele w kolorze różowym i fioletowym. Następnie dołożyłem nieco wosków. Na koniec zabrakło mi nieco czerni, więc gdzie mogłem dodałem kilka stemplowych odbitek.

The first color spots are watercolors - pink and violet. Then I added some waxes. At the end I lacked some black, so where I could I added some stamp prints.
