Przywoływanie wiosny/ Spring's calling

Karolina z tej strony. Dzisiaj przygotowałam dla Was takie małe wiosenne stoidełko. Co prawda zima naprawdę nas rozpieszcza w tym roku i nie przyszła do nas w sumie wcale, ale ja i tak już tęsknie za zielenią i wiosną.  

Moją pracę stworzyłam na bazie małego heksagonu, który znajdziecie na Snipkowych półkach. Możecie te bazy dowolnie ozdobić, a potem powiesić na ścianie lub postawić na półce. Heksagon pokryłam warstwą gesso, przy użyciu gąbki, a następnie docięłam backgroundową tekturkę do kształtu mojej bazy i stworzyłam na niej moją wiosenną kompozycję. Tam również posłużyłam się Snipkowymi tekturkami - okrągłą ramką, która jest bardzo wszechstronna i będzie pasować do wszystkich Waszych projektów i ażurowym motylkiem, który podkreślił wiosenny charakter pracy.

Hi everyone!

Karolina's here. Today I prepared for you a little spring decoration. I don't know how it looks in your countries, but in Poland winter decided to not come this year, but it doesn't matter - I still missing spring, leaves on trees and flowers. 

I created my project on the 3D hexagon base which you will find in SnipArt store. You can decorate this bases as you like and then hang it on the wall or put it on the shelf.

I started my work from cover hexagon with using gesso and kitchen sponge and then I cut the background chipboard to the shape of my base and I built my spring composition on it. I used some chipboards in my composition too - the round frame will be suitable for all your projects, it is very versatile and the openwork butterfly which emphasized the spring vibe of my project.

Today I want to show you a mixed media canvas that has developed in one go. It is about us about girls, about creativity, about freedom of choice and incredible ideas. 

Po wszystkim, my jako artyści i twórcy naszego własnego życia, malujący je ulubionymi odcieniami radości i zachwytu. I chciałabym żeby każdy z nas mógł cieszyć się tym twórczym procesem, obietnicą i czasem spędzanym z ukochanymi osobami.

After all, we, as artists, are the creators of our own lives and paint it in our favorite shades of joy and delight. And I would like each of us to enjoy the creative process, the promise and the time of hanging out with loved ones.

Limited Edition Mixed Media Tag

Do tego projektu zdecydowałam się użyć dużego taga MDF z tekturkami z różnych kolekcji. Mam także film z prcesu twórczego, który znajdziecie na końcu notki. Ma też napisy i pełną listę produktów, których użyłam.

Hi there lovely Snip Art Fans, Farrel here to share with you all my second project for this month. 

For this project I decided to create something using the large MDF tag along with chipboards from a few different collections. I also have a process video at the end of the blog which is subtitled and has a full list of products I have used throughout the video.

Stworzyłam taga 4" na 8" z tekturkami z kolekcji "Up in the Air" i Industrial Factory.

Today I come with a new entry for Snip Art!

I have created a 4"x8" tag with chipboards from the collections, "Up in the Air" and "Industrial Factory"

W tle wykorzystałam maskę z "Industrial Factory" z motywem zegarów oraz pastę i embossing. 

For the base, paper with stencil of "Industrial Factory" of clocks with texture paste and embossing.

Następnie stworzyłam moją kompozycję z różnych tekturek, nadając im efekt oksydacji i trochę blasku woskami. 

And then I created my composition with the different chipboards, which I have given them an oxide effect and some shine with waxes.

Alterowana paleta / Altered palette

ostatnio brakowało mi nieco czerni, więc na dziś przygotowałem kompozycję na nieużywanej palecie malarskiej całą czarną z woskowym wykończeniem.

recently, I missed a bit of black, so for today I prepared a composition on an unused painting palette all black with a wax finish.

Zacząłem od pomalowania palety czarnym gesso i dodania wzorów z kilku masek. Na tak przygotowaną powierzchnię przykleiłem pierwsze elementy tekturkowe. Są to głównie motyle.

Przyklejone elementy pomalowałem czarnym gessem.

I started by painting a black gesso palette and adding patterns from several stencils. I glued the first chipboard elements to the prepared surface. They are mainly butterflies.

I painted the sticky elements with a black gesso.

Kolejną warstwę zbudowałem na bazie taga z mdf-u. Dokleiłem do niego kilka tekturek, a na wierzch dodałem trzy stare pędzelki. Pędzelki owinąłem dodatkowo drutem, by dodać nieco faktury. Na pędzelkach umieściłem wyraz "inspire".

I built the next layer based on an MDF tag. I added some chipboard to it and added three old brushes on top. I also wrapped the brushes with wire to add some texture. I put the word "inspire" on the brushes.

Dodałem też nieco różnych "wypełniaczy", czyli kamyków i mikrokulek. Chciałem by dodały całej kompozycji nieco charakteru. Całość pomalowałem ponownie czarnym gessem trzykrotnie tak by dokładnie pokryć wszystkie elementy.

I also added some different "fillers", i.e. small rocks and microspheres. I wanted them to add some character to the whole composition. The whole was painted again with a black gesso three times to cover all elements thoroughly.

Zostało mi tylko wydobyć głębie z całości. W tym celu użyłem wosków, które powstały poprzez wymieszanie bezbarwnego wosku z farbami Color Glow. Dzięki kolorowemu wykończeniu uwidoczniły się wszystkie detale projektu.

All I have to do is get the depth out of it. For this purpose, I used waxes that were created by mixing colorless wax with Color Glow paints. Thanks to the colorful finish, all details of the project became visible.
