Always and Forever Mixed Media Canvas

 Hi there everyone, Farrel here to share with you all my second project for the month. Today is my wedding anniversary so I thought it would be nice to create a project using a photo of my husband and I on our wedding day 12 years ago.

On the canvas I used Art Alchemy Waxes over black gesso. The flowers are a mixture of 49 and Market and Prima. I used a gold paint to brush the petals. 

I cut up 2 pieces of the Wall #2 chipboard and covered with wax in gold and matte white. The Half Round Shutters chipboard I painted with a navy acrylic paint and also used waxes.

On the Ivy I lightly covered with a gold acrylic paint to help tie in with the gold on the flowers.

Hi guys! welcome to the universe of Snip Art.

Today I bring you another inspiration project with its wonderful chipboards, I have used the Industrial Factory, Jolly Roger and Baroque Garden collections.

I have altered a box giving it an industrial look, I love this style, pipes, gears, rust ...

Next to the chipboards I have put flowers, metal elements, paper, even a light bulb.

I show you photos of how the sides of the box have been.

 love the result and it is that this time I have not left my comfort zone, those of you who follow me know that in the dark, industrial and steampunk style is where I find myself most comfortable.

 Hej Kochani! Z tej strony Karolina. Słuchajcie, musimy spojrzeć prawdzie w oczy. Mamy połowę września, a to oznacza, że nadchodzi zima i święta. Zanim to nastąpi czeka nas jeszcze, co prawda moja ulubiona pora roku, czyli jesień, jesienne spacery, zbieranie grzybów itd., ale mimo wszystko ja w tym roku postanowiłam już jakiś czas temu rozpocząć świąteczny sezon, bo mam ogromną nadzieję, że tym razem uda mi się wyrobić chociaż z połową zaplanowanych projektów. Dlatego dzisiaj przychodzę do Was z moją pierwszą świąteczną kartką w tym roku.

Hi guys! Karolina's here!  Ok, we gotta face the truth. It's mid-September, which means winter and Christmas are coming. Before this happens, we still waiting for my favorite season of the year, i.e. fall, autumn walks, mushroom picking, etc., but nevertheless this year I decided to start the Christmas season some time ago, because I really hope that this time  I'll make at least a half of the planned projects. That is why today I come to you with my first Christmas card this year.

ostatnio chodzą za mną zestawy kartka i pudełko. Tak też powstała dzisiejsza praca. Tym razem z przeznaczeniem na wesele, choć układ jest na tyle uniwersalny, że pasowałaby na każdą okazję.

recently I create card and box sets. This is also how today's project was created. This time it's intended for a wedding, although the composition is universal enough to suit any occasion.

Tym razem postanowiłem pudełko i kartkę ozdobić tak by się nieco różniły. Na pudełku stworzyłem centralnie ułożoną kompozycję z kwiatów na rozetce i ramce tekturkowej. Do kwiatów dodałem kilka ażurowych listków.

This time I decided to decorate the box and the card so that they differ slightly. On the box, I created a centrally arranged composition of flowers on a rosette and a chipboards frame. I added a few openwork leaves to the flowers.

Kartka to również rozetka i ramka, lecz kwiaty ułożyłem nieco bardziej z boku. Dodałem napis "Moc życzeń" pomalowany biały tuszem akrylowym. Oczywiście i na kartce użyłem ażurowych listków.

There is also a rosette and a frame on the card, but I put the flowers a bit more to the side. I added the words "Moc życzeń" painted with white acrylic ink. Of course, I also used openwork leaves on the card.

today I have a space layout for you...

For my background, I applied some gum past to create circle's parts. I put some dry shinny watercolor and some splash inks. Then, I put off the gum part to get just back background at some places.

I painted my chipboards in black and I also put some dry shinny watercolor.
