Zestaw na Komunię Świętą / A Holly Communion set

w tym roku przez koronawirusa terminy komunijne są tak porozrzucane, że kartki można przygotowywać przez cały rok. Tak też jest u mnie. Na dziś mam dla Was zestaw - kartka w pudełku.

Hi,

this year, due to the coronavirus, communion dates are so changed that cards can be prepared all year round. This is also the case with me. For today I have a set  - a card in a box. 

Wierzch pudełka ozdobiłem okrągłą ramką z winoroślami oraz napisem IHS z gołębiem. Napis pokryłem tuszem akrylowym w białym kolorze, a na ramce dodałem białe kwiaty.

I decorated the top of the box with a round frame with vines and the inscription IHS with a dove. I covered the inscription with white acrylic ink and added white flowers to the frame.

Kartka to kilka warstw papieru oraz tekturki. Wybrałem narożniki z winoroślami, na których dodałem warstwowy napis "Pierwsza Komunia Święta". Napis pomalowałem białym tuszem akrylowym. Jako dekorację dodałem białe perełki w płynie. 

The card consists of several layers of paper and chipboards. I chose the corners with vines, on which I added a layered inscription "First Holy Communion". I painted the inscription with white acrylic ink. I added white liquid pearls as decoration.

Jest to zestaw dla chłopca, więc całość wykonałem w błękitach i ograniczyłem liczbę kwiatów do minimum.

It is a set for a boy, so I made everything in blues and limited the number of flowers to a minimum.

Hello ! today I am sharing an altered album cover
I made for Snip Art DT inspiration work.

I wanted to create some Spring like atmosphere

so I used mainly flowers and floral design.

Our brand Snip art has many many chipboard designs,

many collections.
There are some collections that you might think you dont need them.

but actually they can be very versatile.

just like this collection of "Holy Communion"

I used them to create many curves to emphasize the elegance

the ivy leaves are just beautiful
I combined with Mintay Papers "Flora Book" and "Beauty in Bloom" 

collection

mamy już marzec i pomału trzeba zacząć przygotowywać się do sezonu komunijnego. Dlatego też dziś pokaże Wam kartkę, którą zrobiłem z tej właśnie okazji.

Hi,

it's already March and you have to start preparing for the first communion season. That is why today I will show you a card that I made for this occasion.

Bazę kartki stworzyłem z jasnych biało - szarych papierów ułożonych warstwowo. Dodałem na nich nieco perełek w płynie w kolorze różowym.

I created the base of the card from light white - gray papers arranged in layers. I added some liquid pearls in pink.

Główną ozdobę kartki stanowi okrągła ramka warstwowa z liśćmi winogronowymi. Połączyłem ją z napisem "Pierwsza Komunia Święta" i w miejscach liści dołożyłem kilka dodatkowych listków.

The main decoration of the card is a round layered frame with grape leaves. I combined it with the inscription "First Holy Communion" and added some additional leaves.

Dodatkową ozdobę stanowią kwiaty z białego foamiranu podbarwionego na różowo. Wkomponowałem je w ramkę razem z listkami winogron.

An additional decoration is flowers from white, pink-colored foamiran. I composed them in a frame together with grape leaves.

Wnętrze kartki, gdzie wpisujemy życzenia zdobią drobne dekory. Dzięki nim proste z pozoru miejsce nabiera nieco charakteru.

The inside of the card, where we write wishes, is decorated with small decors. Thanks to them, the seemingly simple place takes on a bit of character.

Altered Recipe Box by Anja

Mój projekt na dziś to alterowane pudełko na przepisy.
My project for today is an altered Recipe Box.

Mój syn podsunął mi ten pomysł, gdyż uznał, że moje przepisy powinny być zachowane dla kolejnych pokoleń.
On chciał książkę, ale na wyprzedaży garażowej kupiłam pudełko.

My son came up with the idea, because he thinks my recipes should be saved for next generations.

He wanted a book, but I remembered buying a box at a garagesale ones.

So I took me a while to find it but here it is.

Pierwszym krokiem są maski. Użyłam tej z kolekcji Industrial Factory. Uwielbiam ją i ciągle jej używam w swoich pracach. 

Zdecydowałam się ozdobić tylko górę pudełka. Wybrałam ramkę z kolekcji Wandering Ivy, oraz zawijaski i winogrona z kolekcji Holy Communion oraz kwiaty i pszczółki ze swoich zasobów. 
Użyłam kilku kolorów wosków dla wykończenia. 

First step was to do some stencilling, is that a word?

Probably not, I used a stencil from the Industrial Factory Collection.

Love that one, used that on a lot of boxes.

I decided to only decorate the top op my box.

I took a frame from the Wandering Ivy Collection, a swirl and the grapes from the Holy Communion Collection and a flower and 2 bees from my stash. 

I used several colors of wax to finish.

Photo Album For Holy Communion

Czasem chciałoby się zrobić coś wyjątkowego na wyjątkowy dzień. Dla mnie jednym z takich dni jest Komunia Święta.
Postanowiłam, że dzisiejszym projektem będzie album z pięknymi tekturkami z kolekcji Holy Communion. 

Sometimes, you have to make something special, for a special day.

One of those day's is the Holy Communion. 

I decided for today's project I would alter a photo album with the beautiful chipboard from the Holy Communion Collection by Snip Art.

Ponieważ mój album był bardzo zielony zrobiłam mu nową okładkę z płótna zamiast zamalowywać ją białym gesso. 
W tle użyłam jednej z pięknych masek SnipArt.

Because my album was very green I gave it a new cover with canvaspaper instead of making it white with gesso.

For background texture I took one of the beautiful stencils by Snip Art.

Użyłam trochę kolorów by pokazać piękno i delikatność tekturek z kolekcji Holy Communion.

Just used a bit of color to show of the beauty of the delicate chipboard from the Holy Communion Collection.
