Art journal spread/ Shkarpet Alena

Hello)

After looking at the chipboard from our Mad Scientist collection, I got the idea to arrange a spread in the Art Journal with the great Russian scientist chemist Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleev.

Making such a reversal is not difficult:

1. As a basis, I took three A4 watercolor sheets and connected them with paper clips in a notebook

2. I applied a transparent primer to the base and then created the background using sprays.

I applied each new layer of sprays, having previously dried the previous one.

3. Added some stamps using several shades of ink.

4. Placed the main composition, focusing on our chipboard and complex background.

czasami jest tak, że tworzymy duże projekty, a czasami najdzie nas na coś niedużego. Tak było u mnie tym razem. Bazy heksagonowe są tak fajne, że musiałem w końcu zrobić coś z jej małej wersji.

sometimes it's so that we create large projects, and sometimes we feel like something small. It was like this with me this time. The hexagon bases are so cool that I had to do something with its small version.

Wybrałem maskę i tekturki z kolekcji "Mad Scientist". Bardzo podobają mi się tekturki w kształcie buteleczek i bąbelków, które dodałem nad jedną z buteleczek. Stworzyłem z nich niedużą kompozycję i całość pokryłem białym gessem. 

I chose the stencil and chipboards from the "Mad Scientist" collection. I really like the bottle and bubble shaped chipboards that I added above one of the bottles. I created a small composition from them and covered it with a white gesso.

Pierwsze plamy barwne to akwarele w kolorze różowym i fioletowym. Następnie dołożyłem nieco wosków. Na koniec zabrakło mi nieco czerni, więc gdzie mogłem dodałem kilka stemplowych odbitek.

The first color spots are watercolors - pink and violet. Then I added some waxes. At the end I lacked some black, so where I could I added some stamp prints.

Hello everyone!

Today or I bring the tutorial of a canvas, with the great Snip Art chipboards, from the collections "Mad Scientist" and "Industrial Factory".

For this canvas I wanted to use the "Mad Scientist" collection so I looked for the image of a chemist, Dimitri Mendeleyev, creator of the periodic table of elements and who fit perfectly into the idea that I had.

Today it is my turn to show you my DT project.

I used the mad-scientist collection 

Użyłam Hexagona MDF do stworzenia czegoś w rodzaju shadowboxa, więc nie potrzebowałam wieczka. Stworzyłam taki sam kształt z kartonu, żeby pasował do pudełka i dodałam trochę tekturek. 

I used the mad-scientist-3d-heksagon-mdf for making a kind

 of shadowbox, so I did not used the lit.

I made the same shape with cardboard to fit in the box 

and put some cardboard under it to support it.

Użyłam produktów z kolekcji Mad Scientist: buteleczek, tytułu i ramki i pomalowałam je metaliczną farbą w "toksycznych" kolorach. Chemiczne wzory, które widzicie w tle są pokryte czarnym gessem i srebrnym woskiem. 

I used the Mad Scientist chipboard bottles, text art is my alchemy

 and window frame and painted themwith metallic paints in poison colours.

 I coloured with black gesso and silver wax
