Album dla Alicji

Cześć,

dziś będzie post z dużą ilością zdjęć, ponieważ przyszło mi stworzyć coś nieco większego niż kartka. Po raz drugi w życiu zrobiłem album, który powstał na gotowych bazach albumowych spiętych kółeczkami. Album trafił jako prezent do dziewczynki lubiącej niebieski, fioletowy i... motylki.

Hey,

today will be a post with lots of photos, because I had to create something a little bit bigger than a card. For the second time in my life I made an album that was made on ready album bases joined together with metal circles. The album came as a gift to a girl who likes blue, purple and ... butterflies.

Okładkę zrobiłem dość prostą i płaską, by nie było problemu z przechowywaniem. Do jej ozdobienia użyłem dwóch tekturek - motyla i warstwową ramkę. Imię dziewczynki po wydrukowaniu pokryłem delikatnie glossy accent, które nakładałem patyczkiem. Dało to efekt lekkiej wypukłości.

Metalowe kółka spinające album ukryłem pod mnóstwem koronek i wstążek.

I made the cover quite simple and flat so that there would be no problem with storage. To decorate it I used two chipboards - a butterfly and a layered frame. After printing, the girl's name was slightly covered with glossy accent, which I applied with a stick. This gave the effect of light raised.

I hid the metal rings connecting pages the album under a lot of lace and ribbons.

Pierwsze strony to kieszonki, w które wsunąłem tagi oraz większy kawałek kartoników oklejonych dwustronnie i ozdobionych motylkami.

The first pages are with the pockets in which I put the tags and a larger piece of cardboard covered with two-sided and decorated with butterflies.

Kolejne strony są dość proste, a na jednej z nich umieściłem dodatkowe miejsca na zdjęcia.

The next pages are quite simple, and on one of them I put additional space for photos.

Ponownie stworzyłem kieszonkę na tagi oraz trzy podstrony, na których można coś dodać. Strona z kieszonką otwiera się na prawo, co widać na zdjęciu poniżej.

Again, I created a pocket for tags and three subpages where you can add something. The side with the pocket opens to the right, as seen in the photo below.

Tym razem tylko jedna dodatkowa strona na zdjęcie. Po lewej stronie zrobiłem prostą kartę zdobioną napisem oraz skrzydłem motyla.

This time I added only one additional page for photo. On the left I made a simple card decorated with an inscription and a butterfly wing.

Na pozostałych stronach powtórzyłem kilka dodatków i kieszonek. Tylna okładka prezentuje się podobnie do przedniej, ale bez dodatkowych ozdobników.

On the other pages I repeated a few additions and pockets. The back cover looks similar to the front cover, but without additional decorations.

Hi, I am back......

With a video this time, made you a mixed media canvas with lots of gorgeous Snip Art Chipboard an choose my not so favorite colors to work with. 

Zapytacie pewnie, dlaczego więc je wybrałam?

No cóż, ostatnio miałam problem z weną, więc stwierdziłam, że muszę wyjść poza swoją strefę komfortu.

Why did I pick those colors?

Well had a bit of inspiration problems lately and when I have that I do something way out of my comfort zone. 

Tym razem nie użyłam moich ulubionych zieleni i niebieskości. Zamiast tego mamy róż, fiolet, pomarańcz i złoto. 

A by jeszcze bardziej je uwydatnić postawiłam na ciemne tło.

And this time I stayed away from my Go-to colors, like blue and green.

Instead I used pink, purple, orange and gold.

And to make them pop and really showcase the gorgeous chipboards I used a black background. 

Myślę, że wyszło fajnie i kolorowo. Mam nadzieję, że Wam też się podoba.

Karty ATC w stylu retro / ATC cards in vintage style

Witam was wszystkich w piękny, mam nadzieję, październikowy dzień:)

Lubicie styl retro? Ja bardzo się odnajduję w takich klimatach- nie muszę tworzyć wszystkiego w oparciu o ten styl, wystarczy, że dodam parę elementów- kolor sepii, stare złoto, albo stare zdjęcia. I jestem zadowolona. Czasami, gdy brak mi weny twórczej wystarczy, że pomyślę- retro i pomysł sam się gdzieś tam znajduje. Do moich ATC postanowiłam użyć śliczne szablony od Snip-Art, które jakoś pięknie mi się komponują ze "starym" stylem, oraz jeszcze nigdy przeze mnie nie użyte skrzydła ważki z drewienka. Kiedyś myślałam, że użyję je do stworzenia ważki właśnie, ale od tego czasu nauczyłam się, jak ważna jest sztuka ekspresji i że nie wszystko musi mieć zawsze sens. I to są właśnie moje uskrzydlone, retro i choć dla was może trochę bez sensu, to bardzo przeze mnie ulubione, ATC:)

Welcome everyone on this, I hope, sunny, October's day:)

Do you like vintage style? I love this kind of style, it suits me well, I think. I don't have to create everything based on Vintage, to me it's enough to add few elements- something in sepia, vintage gold or an old photo. And I am all happy:) Sometimes, when my mojo is gone and I am not sure what to create, it's enough if I think- vintage, and the idea of some sort comes to my mind. For my ATC's I decided to use  beautiful stencils from Snip-Art, which somehow reminds me vintage style and never before used by me chipboard with dragonfly wings; A good while ago I was thinking that this chipboard I'll definitely use one day to create a dragonfly, but since then I changed my mind. I think your own expression in art is so important and not everything needs to make sens. And these are truly mine, winged, vintage and maybe sense-free for many of you, but so very liked by me, ATC's:)
