Hi! Today I have a small tutorial in pictures for you.
I've put together a modular base in Halloween theme.
Quite scary - huh?
Najpierw złożyłam całość na próbę. Tu macie zdjęcie poglądowe, ale jak zauważycie, później nieco zmieniłam koncepcję... lol. Znalazłam też drzewka i dopiero później, że są różne, więc więc zamieniłam na straszne drzewa halloweenowe.
First I put everything together to test the places, I took this picture but as you notice further on, it's not exactly the same anyway... lol I also find other trees as I didn't notice they where different first, so I swapped to the scary Halloween trees instead.
Zaczęłam kolorować moje elementy. Gałęzie/drzewa na czarno, a dynie na pomarańczowo i tak dalej.
I started coloring my pieces. Branches / Trees in black, and pumpkins in orange and so on...
Baza także ma warstwę czerni.
The base got a coat of black too.
Pomalowałam czaszkę najpierw białym gesso, a potem dodałam trochę spękanej farby i na końcu popsikałam brązową mgiełką i starłam kolor więc jedyne co zostało to brązowe spękania.
I painted the skull in white gesso first, then added some crackle paint and finally misted it with a brown mist and removed the color from top so the only thing left was brown down in the crackles.
Drzewa i gałęzie najpierw pokryłam czarnym gessem a następnie popsikałam brązowym. Domek jest pokryty warstwą papieru i przetarty na brzegach papierem ściernym by nadać mu niedbałego wyglądu.
Tress and branches first went black (gesso) and then I misted a brownish color on top. The house is coated with a patterned paper and sanded along the edges to get a rough look.
Każdy element jest pokolorowany. Zapomniałam dodać więcej zdjęć podczas procesu twórczego. Dwie dynie także są pokryte na wierzchu papierem.
Every piece is colored. Forgot to take more pictures during the process.
Two of the pumpkin also got patterned paper on top.
Wszystkie elementy wykończyłam woskiem.
All pieces finished with some wax.
A wszystko razem złożyłam z pomocą kleju.
Całkiem zapomniałam o zrobieniu większej ilości zdjęć z tego etapu- sorry.
And everything is put in place with some glue!
Totally forgot to take more pictures while adding the pieces down. - sorry...
A oto rezultat. Baza ze strasznymi dyniami, nawiedzonym domem i pajęczynami z gazy. Na wszystko brokat.
And this is the result. A base with scary cool pumpkins, a hounted house and some cobweb (cheesecloth) and glitter all over.
Powiem Wam, że była to fajna zabawa i możecie mieszać elementy na bazie na mnóstwo sposobów. Nie lubicie halloween? To żaden problem, możecie zrobic sobie scenkę z tropical adventure!
I can tell this was so much fun and you can mix and match these bases in so many ways. And if you don't like Halloween? No problem, you can try the tropical adventure theme!
